Aaron Goodwin, founder of Caddi Club: indoor golf club in London

Why we exist

Our mission is to make people smile

I fell in love with golf during Covid, and wished I'd taken it up sooner. So I asked myself why I hadn't. The truth: it's hard. Trekking across London to a driving range takes time and effort, and once you're there you're just machine-gunning balls and hoping. I'd pay for lessons, then go to the range and unlearn everything I'd just paid to learn, because I had no data telling me what was actually happening.

Then there's the gear: £5 to borrow a club, or swinging your father-in-law's old set. None of this is an issue at Caddi Club: the best indoor tech shows you exactly what your swing is doing so you practise with purpose, quality clubs and Pro V1s are waiting, and it's all minutes from your door. And if you're a complete beginner, I built this place exactly for you.
